Things to Avoid
- Avoid massaging the treated areas after all procedures, including spa facials, other facial procedures, and spa massages
- Avoid exercise and strenuous activity until the day after your treatment
- Avoid face-down, upside-down, or inverted yoga or other body positions for several of hours after treatment
- Avoid applying makeup or skincare products for at least a full hour after treatment
Things to Remember
- It is not uncommon to feel a slight headache after treatment, particularly after the first treatment
- The neuromodulator’s effect generally develops 5-7 days after treatment and takes full effect in 14 days or less
- There may be asymmetries or imbalances as the neuromodulator begins to take effect but this should resolve in 14 days or less
- In most individuals, the muscle weakness and softness of the skin after injection lasts about 3-4 months
- Bruising is unlikely but can take up to 14 days to resolve when it occurs

Things to Avoid
- Avoid massaging the treated areas after all procedures, including spa facials, other facial procedures, and spa massages
- Avoid laying on or sleeping on the treatment areas
- Avoid applying makeup or skincare products for at least a full hour after treatment
- Avoid exercise and strenuous activity until the day after your treatment
Things to Remember
- Using antihistamines (e.g. Zyrtec, Claritin, and others) after treatment can help to limit the swelling
- Swelling and mild bruising peaks the morning after treatment and resolves in 10 days or less
- Taking or applying Arnica has been shown to improve bruising
- Ice packs can help decrease swelling and should be applied for 10 minutes after waking (do not apply ice directly to the skin)
- Adequate hydration will help prevent and resolve bruising
- These products take up to 2 weeks to settle and integrate with the natural collagen/elastin in your tissues
- If symptoms of lightening or red discoloration, sharp pain, severe swelling, or vision changes develop, call immediately

Things to Avoid
- Avoid massaging the treated areas after all procedures, including spa facials, other
facial procedures, and spa massages - Leave the PRP on the surface of the skin for at least a full hour after treatment before washing your skin with gentle soap and water
- Be gentle when handling your skin and apply sunscreen daily after your treatment
- Avoid all acids, toners, retinol, scrubs, brushes, exfoliants, and harsh topicals for at least a full week after treatment
Things to Remember
- The numbness from numbing cream slowly resolves in approximately a couple hours
- Redness and tiny pin-point dots are expected for several days after treatment
- The surface of the skin may or may not peel after treatment
- Collagen stimulation and textural improvement occurs gradually over 6-8 weeks after treatment
- For a scheduled series of treatments, space the treatments roughly 30 days apart
