Sculpting & Contouring
Unwanted Fat
To reduce unwanted fat, we must cause the body to breakdown the fat cells or remove the fat cells manually. There are many forms of liposuction that manually remove fat cells. We can also stimulate the body to do this with cold, heat, or laser energy. The goal is damaging the integrity of the cell, stimulating the body to break it down internally. Different areas of the body are more responsive to the different types of therapy than others. We will discuss your areas of concern and direct you to the appropriate treatments.
Muscle Tone
To stimulate muscle tone, external devices are used to stimulate microcontractions that gently breakdown the muscles like a hard workout at the gym. The body must repair the muscle damage by building the muscles up again. For example, when using the EMSculpt device on the abdominal muscles, the amount of work the muscle is stimulated to do is equivalent to about 20,000 crunches in one 30-minute treatment. There are devices that target the abs, glutes, calves, biceps, triceps, inner thighs, and more! These treatments are great for already healthy individuals who want to take their fitness to the next level.
Skin Tightening & Cellulite Reduction
As we age, our skin loses the natural collagen and elastin support that once gave it a perfectly smooth appearance. At the same time, there are bands between fat cells that connect the different tissue layers. These bands often create dimpling and the appearance of cellulite. To address these concerns, there are many devices that use deep internal heating to stimulate collagen, thicken and tighten the skin, and soften the appearance of cellulite. After an evaluation of the area, we will discuss which treatment is best suited for your concerns.
